Family Session in Playacar

A REFRESHING TRADITION

Here are the summer holidays in Riviera Maya & it´s Hot down there. Even if our wedding season turns low until October, Zasil´s photographers keep busy working on family photo sessions. Back in 2003 when I started my occupations in Playa del Carmen, I decided to establish a Photo Studio, starting by taking anywhere on the beaches and clubs some lifefull and sexy shots & bringing to visitors some memory pictures – well re-touched – of their stay in Mexico´s carribean cost. Today ZasilStudio has converted itself into the traditional photographer of a lot of mexican and international families that we had the pleasure to keep shooting year after year. Lately, Jennifer went to our gallery and asked us for a casual session in July… this is one of our latest release at date and the following pictures are part of my favorites.

This post is a bit far from my weddings productions (the main subject of this site) but it shows another side of ZasilStudio activities. I met Marco & his brother Alex during my first stay in Playa del Carmen in 2003. Both are from Firenze, Italy : one is running a little international brand of swimwear & the other, also known as Blade, is a reputed House Dj. We already worked together for a previous catalogue of Masquenada & despite the harsh wind blowing all over the 2 days of shooting it was interresting to get new pictures of Silvina this year.¬† The sessions took place on Tulum’s beautiful empty beaches at Diamante K & BeTulum hotels.

NATURAL SHOTS UP ON REQUEST

Wedding photography is pleasure full beacause, as a photographer you can express your creativity with versatile technics in a wide freedom without having to woory of something to be sold (adversiting) or to take care about keeping in a illusory objectivity (photojournalism). Nevertheless I like clients that have a presise idea of what they want. Sofia & Volker knew very close what they were expecting for their destination wedding photography : Sweet, dynamic & creative shots with a crazy taste. During a 4 hour coverage of a Elements’ Newage Ceremony performed by Carlos in tulum, I shoot a lot of pictures with a very wide angle zoom using the natural light most of the daytime.
