“Fashion” was the answer I got to the question to describe their wedding in two words. Not from the bride, but from the man himself. I was grateful to hear this, as it gave me the opportunity to get back to my roots, the underestimated beauty of portraiture, adding a glamourous touch to the actual trend of wedding photojournalism. And ‘Fashion’ is hot, as one of our shots of Jacqueline and Fransisco’s wedding got awarded by the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers. Nothing to allege against, the eco park Xcaret is still one of the most divers and fascinating wedding venues. This was actually the first time I had to witness a ceremony at the ‘Caracol’. Being mostly nothing more than a passageway, it now turned into the backdrop of an intimate wedding ceremony, offering the time and the opportunity for the most fairy-like shots.
To cover this glittering wedding I had the pleasure to be accompanied, besides my loyal 2nd shooter Alfredo, by two charming and above all talented ladies. And Ladies, this groom was a true Party killer, even if the party blew off only after all of our 4 cameras were shut down. As several of the couple’s friends are locally known, we preferred to center this slideshow on the captivating couple.
