TRADITION IN STYLE

Silvia and Jose Antonio returned to Silvia’s home town Leon, in the state of Guanajuato, after three years of what they describe as a perfect relation. This to celebrate their wedding with Silvia’s family who was impatiently waiting for the traditional union of this confident couple. As they have been living between Madrid and Mexico the years before, their invitees also came from both these worlds, united in the common tradition of Christian Catholic wedding ceremony, including the use of the lasso. Draped around the couple in a figure eight shape, with the groom being the first to be lassoed, it symbolizes their love, which should bind the couple together everyday as they equally share the responsibility of marriage for the rest of their lives. At the end of the ceremony, the lasso is removed and given to the bride as a memento of her becoming the lady of the groom’s heart and home and shows their promise to always be together side-by-side.
After the ceremony Silvia and Jose Antonio received their guests in the rustic but magnificent Casa de Piedra and as usual Jaime Gonzales pulled of to translate perfectly the desire of the couple, this time for an elegant and simply classic wedding, by introducing a mainly white color theme with a change-over in grey stripes. The abundance of delicate white orchids, a hint to the elegant appearance of Silvia, as well as that luury touch that is Jaime’s trademark. As for the Zasil team, we came with complete coverage, including our friend but most importantly very talented videographer Ben and his team from Memoire Wedding Films.
